Theatre on Twitch

Theatre on Twitch is an online streaming group consisting of theatrical performances and similar fine arts. I was approached to create a logo and small brand guide for the group. The request was to create a logo that represents bridging the gap between traditional performing arts and digital streaming.

The elements in the logo were carefully chosen to tell the story of the group. The chat bubble pays homage to "Glitch", the twitch logo. The drama masks, comedy and tragedy are done in a simplified style similar to the common emotes/emojis you would see on the twitch website. The typefaces are a combination of serif and sans serif fonts, meant to represent a blend of old and new.
